The Kingdom of Ganesha, Garden of Indonesia in Belgium

Indonesia name more known in Belgium. That's after the Belgian government to build a 5-hectare park Indonesia called The Kingdom of Ganesha. 
Construction of the park is a tribute and honor for the nation of Indonesia. 

Park is located in Parc Paradisio, Brugelette, Belgium, it has been opened and inaugurated on May 20, 2009 by Minister of Culture and Tourism RI Jero Wacik, accompanied by Ambassador Nadjib Riphat Kesoema, Director General of Tourism Marketing and Senior Advisor Nirwandar Special Minister of Culture Harbunangin. 

From the Belgian including Minister of Economy, Labour and Cultural Heritage Areas Walonia, Jean Claude Marcourt and CEO of Parc Paradisio, Eric Domb. 

The opening ceremony marked the consecration ceremony nuanced Pura Agung Bali Shanti Buwana, witnessed by about 800 invitations that thronged the court of Indonesia's first park in Europe. 

"Garden of Indonesia in Belgium is not only the doors and windows to recognize Indonesia, but also a tribute and honor for the Indonesian nation in Europe," Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik in his speech. 

Separately, Mr Najib added that the park was initiated by CEO Eric Domb is not only the people of Europe closer to Indonesia, but more than that is a recognition for Indonesia. 

"Behold, Indonesia has a uniqueness that is very attractive to the world, who deserve to continue to the attention of other nations," said Nadjib. 

Miniature Indonesia 

Indonesia large complex 5-hectare park is indeed rare, unique at the same time special, not only for society but for the citizens of Europe Indonesia in Europe. In this park there Buwana Shanti Puri Agung, in Bali for the actual size, standing on terraced rice paddies in Ubud style. 

It is also equipped with a large replica of the towering temples of Prambanan, as well as large boulders lined up behind the style of Gunung Kawi temple walls. 

In front of the gate looks Toraja House, a replica of Borobudur temple and the back looks traditional houses of East Nusa Tenggara, lined encircling the garden. It was embellished with a variety of statues, old tree roots, and stem wood of large trees, which has become a fossil of Banten. 

"Scheduled for later this month of Sumatran elephants will come to enrich the garden of Indonesia," said Korfungsi Pensosbud PLE Priatna told AFP. 

Imported from Java, Bali 

Park was made possible through the love Parc Paradisio CEO, Eric Domb to Indonesia. Commemorating 60 years of establishment of diplomatic relations Indonesia-Belgian cooperation and Eric Domb Embassy in Brussels this yielded excellent results. 

The overall park complex built by the artists of Bali and a special imported workers from Bali and Central Java. A total of 22 people working to build the park since late 2006 and completed in two years. 

Priatna explained that in order to maintain the authenticity and flavor magical Indonesian, the stones to construct big temples and all layers of the trail came from Indonesia. In total there are about 320 containers of the temple stones were imported from the slopes of Mount Merapi in Central Java. 

"How serious the Parc Paradisio introduce Indonesian culture in central Europe," said Priatna. 

Parc Paradisio is a park conservation of flora and fauna, which was built since 2000 in the middle of the rest of the chateau building (old castle), with a collection of about 1500 species of plants and 3500 species of animals. 

"This park is not only a recreation center that offers the familiarity of nature, people and culture, but also the modern concept of conservation, permanent-waving for tourism promotion, economic and investment Indonesia in the heart of this European Union," said Priatna.
